It is our pleasure to welcome you to our humble Bed & Breakfast. Built in 1896, this Victorian Inn rests on the capable shoulders of three generations of women.
My mom Linda has long dreamed of owning a Bed & Breakfast. She and her husband Bill used to make plans for “someday”. Sadly, Bill passed away in 2017. Rather than give up on her dreams, Mom made the decision that “someday” was now. She worked tirelessly towards preparing her house to sell, reached out to a couple realtors, and the hunt began. Together Mom and I went to many different properties, but we knew we found home the very first time we entered The Jefferson Inn!
Mom signed the Purchase & Sale for the Inn on her birthday in May of 2019. Her dream of creating a legacy for her 4 daughters, 9 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren has become her reality. And in her spare time, Mom is quite a crafter. You will see her handiwork in the placemats you enjoy your breakfast on, as well as several of the sets of curtains throughout the Inn.
I’m Andi, one of Linda’s daughters. When Mom shared her plan with me, I couldn’t wait to be a part of it. I could make my lifelong dream come true also! I loved being a stay-at-home mom when my children were young. Now I get to re-live the best parts and bake cookies every day! Be sure to try my homemade cookies available every evening in the breakfast room.
My daughter Lynnell has worked tirelessly on the grounds. She created the garden designs mostly from scratch. The grounds are a work in progress, Lynnell is constantly adding new flowers and decorations as well as adding to seating areas so our guests can relax and enjoy the beauty of this amazing location.
We three women are working on making improvements to the Inn, leaving our mark, and making it our own. We hope you enjoy your stay with us! Please feel free to leave us a review.
If you enjoy your stay, please tell your friends. If not, please tell US!!!
